Catherine, what a thrill to have you at BAE Systems in Wayne, New Jersey this week. You are a wonderful young lady and a great ambassador for the March of Dimes. I’ve attached a link for some of the photos we took during your visit. Thank you and your mom, Susan for visiting us and spending the day. [slideshow id=2017612633067411213&w=426&h=320]

Michaela Ialamov

Hi Catherine,

My name is Michaela and I was also born very early like you. I was born at 23 weeks, 6 days and weighed 1lb 6oz. I am now 10 months old and have been home for 5 months. I am doing really well and growing beautifully.

My Mommy read me your blog and she says that someday I will be a big girl like you and then I can also show people how strong tiny babies like us can be.

Enjoy your trip…

Hi Catharine! I cannot believe it has been a month since we met you in Baltimore! We are very busy getting ready here for March for Babies in DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland. I wish you could be at all of the walks. Glad you enjoyed the Baltimore Aquarium. Say hello to your mom for me and thank you to your entire family for the great work you are doing spreading the word about the mission of the March of Dimes.

Your friend,

Catharine,
I just watched you and your family on Fox News. What a wonderful inspiration you are and a great promise reflecting the hope for others. Your parents are an example of the love that is exemplified for a child. Your brother Michael is a great big brother, he is going to be your best friend – someone that sticks closer than no other. Your message is a message that needs to be taken everywhere. I work for an insurance company and we are also preparing for the March of Dimes/March for Babies Kick-off. If you are every in Atlanta, GA we would love to have you stop by and speak to our employees and the helping hands committee. Thank you and your family for your message of hope and overcoming the odds. God bless you darlin!!

Catharine,

I think your blog is wonderful. Not only does it do so much for the cause (March for Babies), but it will be a priceless heirloom to you and your family after your year of Ambassador. Keep up the great work. I loved seeing you when you were in White Plains.

Keep being the strong girl that you are.

Hey Aboulhoudas!

It was such a pleasure to meet your family at the March of Dimes National Office last week. Catherine’s enthusiasm is so encouraging. It’s wonderful to see such a little ball of energy and sunshine and think about all of the other preemies out there that are just the same. I’m honored to be a part of an organization that has helped Catherine and all of the others. Keep spreading her story.

Dear Catherine and family,
It was such a pleasure meeting you all at the national office a few weeks ago. Thank you for taking time to talk with the national youth council. Your story and efforts are inspirational and help us continue in our fight to give every baby a healthy start. I look forward to seeing Mike, Michael, and Catherine again at the youth conference!

Dear Ms. Catharine and Family:
It is with great delight that I am sending this email your way. I just wanted to wish you a “Happy Birthday” and hope you are doing well. You are truly an inspiration to use all. How befitting that your birthday should be on the Fourth of July. I understand you will be visiting the Southern area very soon. I am looking forward to the opportunity of meeting you and your family. Tell your brother Michael I said “Hello” and let him know I wished I had a brother like him. Hope all is well with your parents. What great strength and courage they have – they are a true blessing. Once again, “Happy Birthday” and light a sparkler for me.
